Project 06.5 Community Project



In this project, I shot the patio/ front of Lincoln High School. I chose to take photos this way because
Lincoln's front is long, it has a lot of windows, two exits, and a large flag in the middle. My partner, Griffin,
and I took a very forward view of this project, photographing Lincoln as we see, some small emphasis
on a clock in the end. We collaged out photos together to make it seem very realistic like an actual photo
of Lincoln's front.

Project09 Surrealism and Photomontage

In this image i just took a bunch of different weird things and cut them and then placed them around the background image. This image shows surrealism because there are cars riding on a lamp-post, there is a huge eye in the sky, a big face behind the mountain and a person sitting on top of a building.  Furthermore, the cars are the smallest thing in the image which is unrealistic as they are normally bigger than people, eyes, and faces. In this image I chose to put a tidy that I made to make the sky look abnormal and then I put a fish in the sky to add even more weirdness to the picture. This is surrealism because the sky is not actually like that and also because fish don't fly.

Project 13: PreWork

Title of Film or Video: Ways it showed a UTOPIA Ways it showed DYSTOPIA Children  They are all the same and all get good grades The setting is gloomy and dark, also they can't talk The Truman Show The 'world' revolves around him and he lives an almost perfect life. The reality of the situation shows how the whole thing is faked to make him believe that his world is the real one. The Giver Everyone is a perfect person and they all have their own assigned jobs The government is corrupt and everything is in black and whit until the last couple minutes of he movie What is Utopia: - a perfect world where everything is met to perfection/ an ideal world -  an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect. Project 13- Utopia/Dystopia

In general, our shots are taken from various angles and of many different object and things in many different areas. Also I think that main focus of the dystopic images was grimness and the main theme for the utopic was happiness and liveliness.
