Project #10 - Portrait Photography

 This is one of the commercial portraits that I took. It is a commercial for allergy medicine and I thought it worked quite well with the colors in the photo and how they compliment the product, as well as how the product doesn't have to be shown but could be present in the photo.
 For this fine art portrait I liked the blue background and how it worked really well with the subject. Then, while editing I liked when i took out the blue from the background because then it made a very nice contour of her shadow.
This is the second commercial portrait of my math teacher, being how he is, he told me that he never smiled in photos and hence I needed to add one onto him for it to seem realistic and to seem like he enjoyed the product. to further show how it was a commercial I put the product logo in large text to make it stand out.

Finally, in this fine art portrait I wanted to highlight the subject and something that represents them. To do so, I made the background balck and white to take focus off of it and then just him and the monthly dogs in costume posters that he always has up were kept in color.

In this image i just took a bunch of different weird things and cut them and then placed them around the background image. This image shows surrealism because there are cars riding on a lamp-post, there is a huge eye in the sky, a big face behind the mountain and a person sitting on top of a building.  Furthermore, the cars are the smallest thing in the image which is unrealistic as they are normally bigger than people, eyes, and faces. In this image I chose to put a tidy that I made to make the sky look abnormal and then I put a fish in the sky to add even more weirdness to the picture. This is surrealism because the sky is not actually like that and also because fish don't fly.

Title of Film or Video: Ways it showed a UTOPIA Ways it showed DYSTOPIA Children  They are all the same and all get good grades The setting is gloomy and dark, also they can't talk The Truman Show The 'world' revolves around him and he lives an almost perfect life. The reality of the situation shows how the whole thing is faked to make him believe that his world is the real one. In general, our shots are taken from various angles and of many different object and things in many different areas. Also I think that main focus of the dystopic images was grimness and the main theme for the utopic was happiness and liveliness.
